Girls for Algorithmic Justice (GFAJ) is assembling an Advisory Board of leading experts dedicated to advancing gender-equitable AI governance. Our Advisory Board will play a crucial role in shaping our advocacy efforts, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring that our initiatives are grounded in cutting-edge research and policy expertise.

🔍 What We're Looking For

We seek thought leaders, AI ethicists, policymakers, legal experts, technologists, and advocates who are passionate about addressing AI-driven gender inequities. Ideal advisory board members will have expertise in one or more of the following fields:

AI Ethics & Policy – Experience in algorithmic fairness, transparency, and regulatory frameworks.
Technology & Social Impact – Knowledge of the role of AI in online safety, deepfake detection, and ethical AI development.
Law & Human Rights – Expertise in digital rights, privacy laws, and combating AI-driven exploitation.
Public Policy & Advocacy – Background in influencing legislation and shaping global AI governance.
Grassroots & Community Engagement – Experience working with civil society organizations and marginalized communities impacted by AI.

We invite experienced professionals with at least four years of work experience who share our mission to apply to become part of our Advisory Board. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and we welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds and regions.
